Authenk video application

The Authenk video application

The Authenk video application lets you record certified videos with “proof of human origin” directly on your smartphone.

As digital technology evolves rapidly, reliability and transparency become essential when establishing a video’s authenticity. The Authenk video application aims to provide a secure, easy-to-use setting for personal creations, professional content and situations needing reliable proof.

By working locally and certifying footage straight from the smartphone camera, it reduces the risk of manipulation and makes certification accessible. This approach aims to preserve each video’s original integrity without processing or modification. Our goal is to address new digital challenges, including deepfakes, visual manipulation and artificially generated videos. Authenk will continue to evolve in the coming months to improve stability, security and flexibility.

Each video recorded in the app is signed, timestamped and protected as proof that it was not generated by AI or modified. A clickable watermark links directly to the corresponding proof on the Authenk site. The application is designed to document the authenticity of each recording made on your smartphone.

Record. Certify. Show authenticity in one click.

With this application you can:

Work confidentially: your videos remain on your computer

Certify a video locally

Generate an Authenk certificate in one click

Prepare videos before posting them (YouTube, social media…)

Why proof of human origin?

Today, AI-generated videos are becoming hard to distinguish from real footage. To counter fakes, fraud, manipulation and sophisticated edits, Authenk offers proof of human origin based on direct recording with a smartphone.

The video is recorded inside the application; importing from the gallery is not possible. This is designed to establish that it is:

  • recorded live,
  • by a person,
  • without generative AI,
  • without editing before certification,
  • with verified metadata and a secure timestamp.

Secure clickable watermark

Every video recorded with Authenk automatically includes a discreet, clickable watermark linking to the corresponding Authenk proof.

Viewers can immediately check:

  • the date and time,
  • the video’s authenticity,
  • the creator’s digital identity,
  • that the file has not been changed.
